Meet The Team

Sherri is so excited to be joining this industry with her daughter, Summer. She has many years of experience in commercial project management, and is eager to bring that expertise to Salt Hair Collective. Sherri has a passion for traveling and has been to many islands where she enjoys visiting and donating to local schools and children in need. In her spare time, you can catch her hanging out with her family, lounging by the pool, or down at the docks watching the boats come in to see what her husband and son have caught.  An Ocean View native, Sherri is so excited to be opening a salon in her home neighborhood and can’t wait to meet all the clients!

Summer has been in the beauty industry since 2012. She started her education at the Paul Mitchell School and has since grown her passion and skill with many continuing education courses.  Summer specializes in lived-in bright blonde techniques and hand-tied beaded weft extensions. She is certified in JZ Styles, Habit Hand-Tied extension method as well as Master certified with Bellami professinal in all extension methods with a focus in handtied beaded weft extension method. She also has a passion for connecting with clients on a deeper level—striving for amazing customer service and listening skills to ensure you feel heard and understood, and leave the salon feeling beautiful and confident.  On a more personal level, Summer is a beach girl through and through and loves being out on the water on her boat with her two daughters and husband whenever the weather is nice! Having grown up in Ocean View, she is so excited to be opening her dream salon alongside the best team of women!

Candace started her career at a salon in Northern Virginia in 2006. She completed an apprenticeship and worked there for nine years before moving to Norfolk in 2015. After seven years of working at a salon in Norfolk, she took the exciting leap to help open Salt Hair Collective with the best team of women! Candace has always valued continuing education to sharpen her skills and keep up with current trends! She has taken many classes on color, cutting, and extensions, and has traveled all over the country to assist with hair shows, including New York Fashion Week. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments and Bellami Hair Extensions.  Candace is passionate about hair color, specializing in bright blondes, lived-in color, and natural tones for a seamless grow-out, using many different highlighting and balayage techniques. She has also found a passion for creating length and volume with hair extensions! In her spare time, Candace enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and her dog, Penny Lane. Always a Maryland girl at heart, she’s an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens, blue crabs, and Old Bay!

Sarah began her cosmetology career in 2005, and specializes in blonde, brunette, and lived-in color! Early in her career, Sarah discovered a passion for sharing her skills and knowledge, and she has worked as an educator for world-renowned color and product lines. She has taken classes from coast to coast, and has designed and directed an in-house apprenticeship program.  Mostly, she is passionate about providing a welcoming space where she can help begin or renew your commitment to self care! Using her expertise in custom color and extensions, she will help you achieve the length and density you’ve always desired for your hair. Sarah is certified in both JZ Styles and Bellami Hair Extensions. When not at the salon, you can find Sarah with her husband, Russell, and their two vibrant, young kids exploring the beautiful Virginia nature trails.  Sarah is so excited to be a part of opening Salt Hair Collective, and has dreamed of this moment for a long time! ​

Kates has had a passion for all things hair since she was a little girl and feels so lucky to have a career doing what she loves. For her, cosmetology is the perfect balance of serving her clients and expressing creativity.  Kates has been doing hair since 2015, and specializes in blonding and balayage. Extensions are a newfound love of hers and she is an advocate for continuing education and all the mermaid hair! Katelyn is Master certified with Bellami professinal extensions, focusing in handtied beaded extension method. Kates is passionate about travel and fashion—a quick glance at her Instagram and you’ll find her in the trendiest clothes, at the best restaurants, and in the coolest cities.  When Kates is not at work or on the road, you can find her by the pool with her husband, Brandon; baby boy, Banks; and dog, Gaston. A native of the Virginia Beach area, Kates is rooted in this community and will be here to help you make your hair dreams come true for years to come!

Tiffany graduated from Rudy & Kelly Academy and began her career in 2015. She specializes in dimensional color using various highlighting and balayage techniques.  Tiffany has taken many classes to stay current with the latest trends and techniques. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments and Bellami Hair Extensions.  Tiffany is proud to be born and raised in Norfolk! She enjoys all the local restaurants and outdoor festivities Norfolk has to offer. Her favorite place to be is on the beach with her friends and husband, Tim. Tiffany can’t wait to make all of her clients look their best at Salt Hair Collective!

Alyssa specializes in lived-in color, blonding, curly hair and hand-tied extensions. She attended Paul Mitchell School in Raleigh, NC and began her career in Chesapeake, Va before joining the Salt Hair family! She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, the Invisible Bead Extension method, as well as master certified with Bellami professional in all extension methods, focusing & specializing in handtied beaded wefts and loves getting to help her clients have their dream hair! In her free time she loves to try new restaurants and spending time with her boyfriend and yorkie, Bella!

Anna has been in the beauty industry since 2015, graduating from the Aveda Institute in Charlotte, NC. Anna met her husband there and has followed him all over the country during his career in the Coast Guard. After growing up in South Carolina, and moving away for hair school, the military brought her to Virginia in 2017. She has spent the past three years in Oregon and is excited to be back in Norfolk as a part of the Salt Hair Collective team! Working in both commission and booth rental salons has given her a chance to expand and develop her skills, while also understanding what it means to bring quality service to her clientele. She strives to make everyone that sits in her chair feel beautiful on the inside and out! Anna specializes in balayage, highlighting, color and cutting techniques. She is also certified in Brazilian Blowout and Bellami Hair Extensions. You can find Anna spending time with her husband, Blaine; new baby girl, Aria; and dog, Valor at the beach when she isn't in the salon!

Kacee started her career in 2016 when she attended the Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle. She then worked at Bijin Salon & Spa in Kansas City for 3 years before moving to Virginia. Kacee specializes in styling, braiding, detail cutting and lived-in color. She loves being able to make her clients feel great about themselves & seeing the beauty within. Kacee is Master certified with Bellami professinal extensions, focusing in beaded extension method. Kacee is originally from Montana (20 minutes from where the Dutton Ranch is from Yellowstone!) & she misses the mountains. She has two boys- Maddox and Jase who are complete opposites! She loves country music and going to concerts with her husband, Jordan.

Meet Victoria! Victoria or Tori, is from Morehead, NC originally & got married in May of 2022 to her husband Clay, that then brought her to coastal Virginia! Victoria is a dog mama to her golden retrevier named Brew, who is her heart & soul! Victorias two favorite things to do are go on the boat with her friends and family, walk around target & drink Starbucks... and of course do hair! As far as hair, she really does love it all, but blonding & lived in color are her favortie. She is also Bellami certified in ALL hair extension methods, but focuses in the beaded/handtied extension method. Victoria loves making women feel like the best version of themselves. She can't wait to see you in her chair!

Bailey has been in the beauty industry since 2014, beginning her career in Washington, D.C. at the Aveda Institute. She has happily been living, working, and growing her skills in Virginia Beach since 2017. Bailey has a passion for staying up to date with the cutting-edge techniques and trends of the beauty industry. She specializes in all forms of luxurious color, including balayage/dimensional highlights, creating colors, and cuts to complement every client's personal style. Bailey is also certified in Hand-Tied Beaded Weft Extensions with Bellami Professional. With an attitude that's honest, easy, and fun, Bailey's enthusiasm and experience will have you leaving the salon feeling your best self. Originally from Maryland, Bailey moved to Virginia Beach to join her husband-a proud 757 local. Bailey is proud to now call herself a local too, living on Shore Drive with their little boy, Glover and their dog, Fowler.
